Eden Hazard is arguably the best player in the Premier League right now and on current form, Chelsea are by far the best team.
We’re not saying they’ll still be the best team at the end of the season, but right now, they are blowing everyone away with their defensive solidity and graceful attacking play.
Louis Van Gaal and his Manchester United side should be looking at the Blues as the example they want to follow. United’s season has been stuttering and a nervous draw last week has halted any momentum they did have. Chelsea on the other hand, had a fantastic 6-0 victory in the Champions League during the week.
Hazard’s two goals against Maribor further proved his credentials as one of Europe’s best young players and we don’t think Manchester United’s inexperienced defence will be up to to the task of keeping him quiet.
Everyone knows United’s problems aren’t in attack and we expect their pacey players to exploit Chelsea’s cumbersome centre-half pairing of Gary Cahill and John Terry. However, we do think Chelsea will walk away victors and extend their lead at the top.
Our prediction is Eden Hazard to score first and Chelsea to win 3-1. This scorecast is currently at odds of 80/1… surely worth a tenner.
