4pts win Presenting Forever, Doncaster, Saturday 3.15 – This ex-Philip Dempsey horse is a machine. I rode him before and I can confirm he’s a real talent, one to watch for next year’s Grand National perhaps. He’s a great bet for this contest at decent odds which would fill the coffers for Cheltenham.
1pt win The Sneezer, Gowran Park, Saturday 2.55 – Impressive in both of his recent wins. This is a step up in class here but coming in off a very light weight there’s every chance he could make it a three timer.
Ante-post Cheltenham fancies:
Peak Raider – The Carberry connection could be on fire in Cheltenham and Peak Raider is an ace in the pack. Won over hurdles at Leopardstown last time out and is a solid each-way chance for the Johnny Henderson.
Plan A – Gordon Elliott will bring a dangerous team to Prestbury Park and this one could be the best in the Fred Winter. He was very impressive at Gowran Park the last day and one to get the early money on.
Hidden Universe – Dermot Weld sends this one over after a disappointing run at Leopardstown. But there must have something wrong on that occasion. This fella has much more to offer and again is a serious snip at double figure odds.
