Fancy a trip to Poland next summer to help paint Poznan forty shades of green and cheer on Trap’s boys? Of course you do. 98FM could be able to help you out.
We admire those who can plan for the future meticulously, but if we’re being honest, we’ve always struggled a bit with that. When job interviewers ask us where we’ll be in five years’ time, we snicker inwardly as we jam our way through a bare-faced lie. But we know you don’t need to be ashamed by spontaneity. Spontaneity is good. Or, as the lads at 98FM more succinctly put it, Now is Good.
So while we like our tagline – It’s Man Stuff pretty much sums up what we do – we often find ourselves living by the that 98FM rule. But who we’re really jealous of this week are the 98FM listeners.
Because they’re the ones who stand to gain the most. Because they’re all in with a chance to win trips to Euro 2012 next summer, and more specifically the game that will stop the country: Ireland v Croatia in Poznan on Sunday 10 June.
It’s our first big tournament game in ten years, and you could be there, dressing yourself in an all-in-one green sock like that lad above, pumping your fist in the direction of Trap and Tardelli, saying hello to Davy Keogh and maybe – if you’re really lucky – joining in the scrum to catch John Delaney’s scarf. All thanks to 98FM. The feckers.
They have trips – including flights, match tickets and transfers – to give away every day on air and online, and there are a host of ways to enter. You can text EURO followed by your name and address to 53981. Or you could leave a comment over on their Facebook page.
Tune into 98FM for more details, or visit them on Facebook. But make sure you do it in a new tab. We don’t want you leaving JOE, now, do we?
