Ladbrokes have offered odds of 10/1 on Liverpool to win the league under Jurgen Klopp, assuming the German takes over at Anfield this week.
The bookmakers make a Premier League win far more likely than a Champions League victory during his tenure.
Claiming Europe’s biggest trophy is priced at 50/1, while Ladbrokes are offering odds as short as 1/2 that Liverpool will sign a player from Klopp’s former side Borussia Dortmund this January.
Marco Reus, anyone?
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “The first step for Klopp will surely be to get Liverpool back into the Champions League and betting suggests with the help of a current Dortmund player he may just do it.
“Winning the competition would be another jump though, with a Klopp title deemed far more likely than further European glory.”
