Fergus McFadden will replace Keith Earls in the Irish team to face Wales this weekend, with the Munster centre dropping out for family reasons.
According to early reports, Earls has remained in Limerick to remain with his newborn daughter, who has taken ill in hospital. As a result, McFadden will take his place at outside centre with David Kearney replacing McFadden on the replacements bench.
Ireland take on Wales at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday at 3pm.
Ireland: Rob Kearney; Tommy Bowe, Fergus McFadden, Gordon D’Arcy, Andrew Trimble; Jonathan Sexton, Conor Murray; Cian Healy, Rory Best, Mike Ross; Donncha O’Callaghan, Paul O’Connell; Stephen Ferris, Sean O’Brien, Jamie Heaslip.
Replacements: Sean Cronin, Tom Court, Donnacha Ryan, Peter O’Mahony, Eoin Reddan, Ronan O’Gara, David Kearney.
Wales have also named their team for Sunday’s clash. More on that one here.
