Here’s an interesting tidbit, originally this went down as an eleven second fight due to a timekeeping error. Thankfully Dana White saw sense and gave Ludwig the 6 second knockout that the punch deserved and thus made this the quickest knockout in UFC history.

Chuck Liddell def. Renato Sobral
Prior to this fight Liddell hadn’t knocked anyone out for over a year and a half, taking three decision wins during that time. The world was quickly reminded of his power when he introduced Sobral to his shin.

The knockout which proved Liddell’s best years were well behind him. The legend walked into Franklin’s punches and that was never going to turn out in his favour.

This was only Penn’s third professional fight, so Uno probably thought he was in for an easy night. Complacency rarely ends well against good fighters.
Uno’s outrageous attempt at a flying kick ended with him walking into a barrage of punches and then the floor.

Not much needs to be said about this knockout. McGregor has the best left punch in the business and if Aldo gets a rematch (and that is a big ‘if’) he may want to be a little bit more cautious.
