MMA fighters have a higher threshold of pain than most of us, but that wasn’t enough to save Ray Elbe after severely injuring his manhood during an acrobatic moment of passion on holidays.

Injuries are part and parcel of an MMA fighter, but badly damaging one’s penis is not a regular occurrence in the sport.
Elbe was forced into a five-day hospital stay at a cost of more than $6,000 after a fracture and slight tear in the urinary tube. He sustained the injury holidaying in Malaysia when he launched his girlfriend more than eight inches into the air, and her landing was not exactly what they had planned. We are grimmacing at the pain he must have endured as she badly damaged his babymaker.
But that wasn’t the end of his woes. So overcome with the realistaion of what he had just done, he passed out and fell, hitting his mouth and chipping his teeth in the process.
The Daily Telegraph is reporting that the fighter received a lot of unwanted attention due to the unusual injury.
“The worst part of this has been the fact that literally everyone who works in the hospital has come in asking to see my shaft out of curiosity,” he said.
He also said explaining to his parents what had happened over the phone, while asking them to wire through money, was an embarrassing moment.
Unless his father is like Jim’s dad from American Pie, we’re not sure any parent would welcome that call either.
Now you can relax and let go of your crown jewels again, safe in the knowledge Ray is making a full recovery.
