Munster have added to their options at centre with the signing of South African back Pat Howard on a three-month contract. The 22-year-old moves from Western Province and will join up with the Reds later in the month subject to a medical.
Howard is a South African under 20 international and has made 11 Currie Cup appearances in his career so far. Munster have been crying out for more faces in midfield following injuries to Keith Earls and Cian Bohane.
