Geordan Murphy and Peter Stringer have been named in the Ireland team to face Argentina this weekend.
Murphy replaces the injured Rob Kearney at full back, while Stringer has been given the nod ahead of Eoin Reddan and will start at half back alongside Reddan’s Leinster teammate Jonathan Sexton.
The side shows five changes in total from the defeat to New Zealand last weekend, with Andrew Trimble coming in on the wing for injury victim Luke Fitzgerald, while Seán Cronin and Tony Buckley come into the front row instead of the injured Rory Best and Tom Court.
Court and Reddan drop to the bench where Damien Varley comes in as replacement hooker, with Devin Toner, Denis Leamy, Ronan O’Gara and Keith Earls providing further back up.
Ireland’s clash with Argentina kicks off on Sunday at 2.30pm at the Aviva Stadium.
