There were wins for the Dubs, the Treaty County, the Cats, the Deise and the Banner County in the National Hurling League.

A narrow victory over Cork earned Dublin their place in the National Hurling League final for the first time since 1946.

Anthony Daly’s side were reliant on results elsewhere going their way and go their way they did.

Galway were narrowly defeated by Waterford, while Tipperary found themselves held to a draw by Wexford.

That result meant Wexford avoided relegation to the second division, as Dublin’s final opponents Kilkenny managed an eight point victory over Offaly.

Limerick and Clare will face off in the Division 2 final, after they hammered Antrim and Carlow respectively.

Wicklow, Roscommon and Tyrone were victorious in the Division 3A, Division3B and Division 4 finals.
