Novak Djokovic is the big cheese in tennis these days, world number one, and now budding restaurant owner.
By Adrian Collins
Apart from being one of the greatest living tennis players and current world number one, Novak is also opening a chain of restaurants in his home country of Serbia, where he’s hoping to improve his reputation as a foodie by dishing out high class meals.
In order to help him along the way, he’s decided to buy a huge supply of the world’s most expensive cheese called Pule, made from the milk of donkeys near the Zasavica river in Serbia (yeah, we didn’t know donkey cheese was a thing either).
The cheese, which can fetch up to £800 sterling per kilo, has all been bought up by the tennis ace, who is hoping customers will love it when he serves it up in his restaurants.

Sounds like a bit of a racket to us, but apparently the price reflects that the milk used to make the cheese is extremely rare.
Some of the money goes to keeping the donkeys in a sanctuary since their numbers are running low, so he’s helping the animals too.
