Shane Long’s on fire, your… skin is terrified?
Three friends decided to have a bet amongst themselves on Ireland’s game with Belgium.
Patrick Murphy was convinced that Shane Long would score against Belgium and was willing to wager so against his friends Ger McGovern and Marc Carroll.
Ger and Marc both thought that the Belgian defence was too strong to be breached and bet against their pal Patrick.
Well, we all know how that game turned out…
As payment for the bet, the pair decided that Patrick should have to get a tattoo and good sport that he is, Patrick agreed. A reminder that he shouldn’t bet against a knowledgable pair like Ger and Marc.

To top it all off, Ger revealed to us that if Shane Long scores against Italy, he’ll have to get “your defence is terrified” on his other leg.
