Both Gabriel Pauleta and Santi Cazorla were sent off by referee Mike Dean during Arsenal’s 2-0 defeat to Chelsea last weekend.
Diego Costa escaped the same fate despite repeated transgressions throughout the game.
This has led Arsenal fans to say ‘enough is enough’ with Dean, who they believe has screwed them over before. The petition has a whopping 55,000 signatures – just 5,000 short of the Emirates’ capacity.
Those behind the petition also believe that Mike Dean celebrated a goal against Arsenal in the North London derby a few years ago, and to be fair, the video evidence is pretty compelling.
