The hype machine for the Jose Aldo vs Conor McGregor fight has been cranked up so much that I’m expecting smoke to rise out of it.
The latest promo was a corker but like an impatient kid on Christmas Eve, we all have to wait a few more weeks until their featherweight title fight at UFC 189.
Brian O’Driscoll definitely knows a thing or two about a long build-up, we reckon he took a sick pleasure in regularly reminding us all that he was retiring from rugby last season.
Kidding of course, Ireland’s record try-scorer is so chilled and self-deprecating that it’s hard not to like him as seen in this message.
This build up the the Mcgregor v Aldo fight seems longer than my bleedin year long ‘see ye folks I’m off’ debacle…
