“See you all on July 11th.”
Conor McGregor has assured fans that it’s “business as usual” and that he’ll be in the MGM Grand on July 11th following rumours that Jose Aldo will have to withdraw from UFC 189 due to injury.
Reports surfaced from Brazil last night that Aldo had suffered a fractured rib in training in Brazil, with his coach Andre Pederneiras suggesting that it could even put him out of action until October.
There is a possibility that McGregor could still go into the Octagon against the likes of Frankie Edgar should Aldo not be fit to make the fight, but whatever happens, he seemed pretty sure that he’ll be in the MGM Grand on July 11.

If nothing else, it might come as a relief to the many Irish fans who had booked trips to Vegas and might have been slightly panicky following last night’s revelations.
