Two weeks on from his victory over Chad Mendes for the Interim UFC Featherweight belt, the achievement is still sinking in for Conor McGregor.
This morning, McGregor tweeted a picture of himself and his mother embracing after the fight with the words “I done it Ma :-)” in a photo that could well take pride of place on the mantelpiece in the McGregor family home.
Emotional stuff.
Some would say he’s a bit late passing on the news but we’re sure he’s been a busy boy, what with the big win and all.
