This would be a magnificent tribute.
The Mayo GAA community are still in mourning over the tragic death of Darragh Doherty, a former Mayo minor star who died in a car crash in the county on Sunday night.
19-year old Darragh, from Kilmaine, played a huge part in Mayo’s victory in the 2013 All-Ireland minor final, scoring 1-2 against Tyrone as Mayo claimed their first All-Ireland title at the grade in just under 30 years.
Tributes have poured in from Darragh from far and wide following the tragic events of the weekend and former Mayo star David Brady took to Twitter this evening to suggest a special way Mayo fans can honour Darragh’s memory in the All-Ireland semi-final against Dublin on Sunday.

All Supporters are being asked to honour the late Darragh Doherty RIP by applauding for 13 seconds on the 13th minute on Sun #13ForNo13

The hashtag #13forNo13, in honour of the jersey Darragh wore in the All-Ireland minor final, is already gaining plenty of momentum, with Dublin fans already planning to join in in what would be a similar tribute to the one paid to Alan and Steve Harris and the Berkeley victims in Croke Park earlier in the summer.
Following our minute's applause for Alan & Steve Harris & those lost in Berkeley, let's do similar on Sun #13ForNo13 https://t.co/XRcBmIbSuz

Fair play to David for suggesting it, it would be a great tribute to Darragh’s memory and here’s hoping some 82,000 people get behind it at HQ on Sunday.
