Has Jürgen Klopp seen Father Shorthall lately by any chance?
Such was the level of entertainment provided by Liverpool and Arsenal during their 3-3 draw at Anfield that there’s a chance you may have missed a Liverpool fan holding aloft a banner that you’re not going to forget in a hurry.

A portrait of the fan in question with Jürgen Klopp holding his arm around him, it certainly wasn’t missed on Twitter, where it was the subject of as much p*ss-taking as you’d expect.
When Nooruddean Choudry (AKA @BeardedGenius), a journalist with our brothers in the UK, drew attention to it this morning, people were quick to compare it to a famous painting of Father Ted and the priest who idolises him, Father Stone.
In fairness, the parallels are uncanny.

Fingers crossed the two of them don’t go playing crazy golf in bad weather anytime soon; we don’t want Jürgen looking like a trophy after all.
