A familiar sight.
Robbie Keane’s haul of 65 goals in 139 caps is a phenomenal record for any striker playing international football and quite a fair few of Keano’s goals in the green jersey have come from the 12 yard spot.
Who can forget his memorable spot-kicks against Spain in the 2002 World Cup or his most recent effort against Gibraltar, but Ireland’s captain perfected the art of taking a penalty during his days at Crumlin United.
Here he is scoring one, against what looks like Cherry Orchard, back in his schoolboy days.
We wonder if he did the cartwheel straight after.
