Dear Sky Sports, get these lads in the studio together.
It seems that Jose Mourinho has resorted to his default mode in the wake of Chelsea’s recent Champions League elimination at the hands of PSG.
What is this you ask? Well the Chelsea gaffer has had a pop at anyone who isn’t associated with his own club of course.
The Special One is the master of creating a siege mentality around his team and it usually has the desired effect, wins and trophies.
Chelsea’a manager used his pre-match press conference as an opportunity to have a pop at two former Liverpool players, Jamie Carragher and Graeme Souness.
Speaking with the media ahead of this weekends game against Southampton he said, “the world is strange, maybe because of our diets or the products we are eating but memories are getting shorter. Because when Jamie Carragher and Graeme Souness are talking about it, they are having a [memory] problem for sure.”
Mourinho added, “Jamie stopped playing two years ago and in that time he forgot what he did on the pitch. I prefer to laugh. Envy is the biggest tribute that the shadows do to the man.”
Carragher kept his composure though with this tweet although we really would love to see these two in the studio together.
Doesn't look like I'll get Jose on MNF!!
