It’s always been Robbie Keane’s childhood dream to see his name in an Irish dream team but I’m prepared to try and snatch this away from him. It’s all in good fun Robbie, I still love you.
In case you missed it, Keano was in fantastic form this morning as he chatted with Today FM DJ Ian Dempsey about his upcoming ambassadorial duties at the Special Olympics.
Aside from some chat about LA Galaxy, Ireland’s chances of reaching France and his love for Christy Moore, the most interesting bit of information was his selection of the best XI players that he played with in the green jersey.
Keane’s side was: Given, Irwin, Dunne, O’Shea, Staunton, McAteer, Keane, Kinsella, Duff, Quinn and himself.
This got us thinking, what side could we pick from those players that Robbie didn’t include in his XI?
