Pic: Kearney takes to the air as Leinster win Amlin Challenge Cup

Leinster won the Amlin Challenge Cup at a sunny RDS this evening against Stade Francais, and one photographer was definitely standing in the right place, at the right time.

After 28 minutes of tonight’s match between Leinster and Stade Francais, Rob Kearney dived his way over the touchline to score Leinster’s third try of the night, but before he could land, Dan Sheridan from Inpho photography managed to capture this brilliant shot.

In fairness, it was a class try. A cross-field kick from Jonny Sexton was collected neatly from Isa Nacewa on his second last appearance for Leinster who then off-loaded to the on-rushing Kearney who Superman-ed his way over in style.

It was a fairly eventful match for the boys in blue as they notched up 34 points against fellow finalists Stade Francais who could only manage 13.

Sexton was named man of the match and rightly so, as he knocked over all four conversions and two penalties. The try scorers for Leinster were Madigan (4mins), Cronin (20mins), Kearney (29mins) and Healy right at the end (79 mins).
