For any non-UFC fans, don’t be fooled into thinking that we are claiming there is extraterrestrial life from Korea. Just proof that Chang Sung Jung is pretty beat up.
Jung, better known of course as the Korean Zombie was in the wars last weekend at UFC 163 in his fight with Jose Aldo, suffering a separated shoulder that had a significant impact on the contest.
During the bout, Jung gamely back-pedaled while attempting to calmly get the shoulder back into place, but Aldo noticed the injury and began to kick the injured area. A takedown and a few academic ground strikes later, and the fight was over, with Zombie on the ground howling in pain.
And his woes weren’t over there. He posted a picture of his foot, showing that he fractured his orbital bone too and is expected to be out of action for up to six months according to MMA Mania.

Aldo for his part didn’t come out unscathed either. He will miss the rest of the 2013 season after breaking his foot, while he is reportedly also suffering from kidney stones.
A bruising encounter would be a fair assessment.
