John might not have been safe when she was around but a group of Irish supporters found Rynagh O’Grady, AKA Mary from Father Ted, to be lovely company when they ran into her in Bordeaux on Thursday night.
Kevin O’Brien, a Meath man, and his friends, Allen Murphy from Down and Eddie O’Connell from Kerry, ran into Rynagh when walking by the Cock and Bull pub near the cathedral in Bordeaux and she was more than happy to pose for a picture.
We could do worse than try and show the Belgian players what Mary used to be capable of before the game on Saturday; that would have them running scared…
