The poor car never knew what hit it.
At this time of year when the Championship is nearing its conclusion, it’s not uncommon to see GAA fans covering a car in the colours of their county team to show their support.
The cars put forward for a makeover are usually vehicles that have seen better days, but you certainly couldn’t say that about the car belonging to a man described by JOE reader Brian McManus as ‘the big man’ in Orang Eire GAA club in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The big man has only gone and covered his beautiful Aston Martin in green and red ahead of the All-Ireland semi-final replay with Dublin today, complete with a Mayo crest on the bonnet and a Sam Maguire logo accompanied with the slogan ‘Up Mayo’ on the roof.
Like many GAA fans abroad, the big man will be watching anxiously to see how his county men get on in Croker today, but if Mayo end up on the winning side, residents of Kuala Lumpur should see him rollin’ by the Petronas Towers tonight in the finest Mayo mobile we think we’ve ever seen.
Cheers to Brian McManus for sending this our way
