Ah forget it!
There’s no doubting Jose Mourinho’s incredible coaching credentials, two Champions Leagues and a domestic title in every country that he has been a manager is testament to that, but Roman Abramovich might be tempted to tell ‘The Special One’ to feck off.
The Blues slumped to their sixth league defeat of the season against Liverpool yesterday and rumours have been circulating that Chelsea might be prepared to ditch Mourinho and appoint a new manager. Bookies might want to include the name of Father Dougal McGuire to the list of potential candidates.
After all, Craggy Island’s most moronic priest did help mastermind a win in the All-Priests Five-a-Side Over-75’s Indoor Challenge, so he seems like a solid choice to me.
The Sunday Independent might support Dougal’s campaign also because they reckon Mourinho clearly needs his tactical failings pointed out to him in the clearest language possible.
