Barely a hair out of place.
Barring a dramatic comeback a little further down the line, Steven Gerrard will play his final Premier League game at Anfield this evening and deserved tributes have been flowing the way of the Reds’ skipper all week.
As well as the great goals and the match-winning contributions, what you may have noticed from over the years is that Gerrard’s hair has hardly changed a bit since the day he made his debut way back in 1998.
Sure, at the start, it was a little tight at the sides and he did go for the skinhead look once or twice.
For the most part though, he’s kept it nice and simple, as is illustrated in a collection of stickers from every season he’s played in the Premier League to date.
No David Beckham-style experimentation here, no sir…

Once a short, back and sides man, always a short, back and sides man, eh Stevie?
