Pic: Robbie Keane as a 12-year-old playing for his local club really needs to be seen

Living the dream as a child whilst playing for his boyhood club

Living the dream as a child whilst playing for his boyhood club.

JOE still uses the same celebration that we did as a child whenever we score a goal in our 5-a-side matches, the classic Roger Milla dance in the corner.

The celebration is starting to look a little weird now as our dance moves deteriorate though.

We’re certain that Robbie Keane’s patented cartwheel saw a fair few flips during his days with his boyhood side Crumlin United and here he is taking on their Dublin rivals Cherry Orchard back when he was a schoolboy footballer.

Who would think that this young man would go on to be Ireland’s record goalscorer? At first it’s hard to pick him out but it’s definitely him.

We also love how the referee is clearly the inspiration for Jason Byrne’s referee in the Father Ted All-Priests five-a-side Over-75’s contest.
