Galway fans weren’t the only ones not happy Seamus Callanan was on fire today.
A promotion called ‘Free Pint Sunday’ fell flat on its face today in Jack Ryan’s pub in Abbeyfeale in Limerick, where free pints were on offer for every goal scored by Tipperary in the All-Ireland hurling semi-final.
Tipp hurler Seamus Callanan racked up the free pints for customers in the bar by netting three goals for his county and even though he scored nine points as well, Tipp ended up on the losing side of an epic encounter at Croke Park.

We believe the pub has Tipp leanings as well, making it a bad day all round. At least the customers were happy.
