If anyone was asked to pick the most intense rivalry in English football you’d probably look to the North West because Manchester United fans hate Liverpool and Liverpool fans hate Manchester United, that’s just the way is.
The two clubs have a massive passionate support here in Ireland and it means an awful lot to people when both sides play.
Corkman Paul Luxford is one of United’s biggest supporters, he’s been described by his buddies as “the most militant Manchester United fan in the world” so obviously he’s not a fan of Brendan Rodgers and his team.
Paul lost a bet recently and his forfeit was one of the cruelest things anyone could do to a staunch United supporter… Paul had to wear a Liverpool jersey for the duration of a stag party.
Here he is honoring the forfeit and we can imagine how much this hurt him. Look at his sad face, hilarious…
