Yes, it would appear he was.
Having played for the club for the best part of two decades, Jamie Carragher is Liverpool through and through and as such, you would assume he was rooting for Preston against Manchester United in the FA Cup this evening.
With that in mind, it seemed strange to see Carragher celebrating Ander Herrera’s equaliser for United against Preston at Deepdale, as he did on Twitter this evening.
Get in Herrera!!!!!!

One would immediately suspect that somebody – possibly Gary Neville – had nabbed Carragher’s phone and hacked his account, but a look at a tweet sent only minutes earlier provides a more understandable explanation.
Lfc fans maybe celebrating the score at the moment, I actually think it would be better for Lfc if Man Utd win. Arsenal in form big danger!

Not something you expect to see every day all the same and, lo and behold, it didn’t take long for Jamie to change his mind.
Watching Rooney & all celebrating has made me change my mind I still wish it was 1-0!
