Following the article we published earlier on Clare hurler who took a sliotar to the thigh, GAA players across the country have been sending in their bruises to JOE proving it really is a love of the game and a wild competitive streak that powers this lot into action.
We have compiled a selection of the most severe and painful looking of the lot.
Be prepared to see some grotesque looking injuries that will leave you sitting.
