Some really great players scored some really great goals in the Champions League last week.
Thanks to Nissan, Official Partner of the UEFA Champions League, football fans can win an official Nissan/UEFA Champions League merchandise pack every Champions League matchweek simply by voting for their favourite strike from the games played that week.
Last week, some of European football’s biggest names made themselves noticed with some brilliant strikes, with Roma’s Francesco Totti, Barcelona’s Luis Suarez, Alexis Sanchez of Arsenal, Sergio Aguero of Manchester City and Hector Herrera of Porto all up for consideration for the best goal scored in Matchday Five.
It really is a tough one to call this week, but if pressed we’d go for Alexis Sanchez’s effort as he couldn’t really have placed it any better and besides, we have a bit of a soft spot for the man from Chile who has provided no little spice in his brief time in English football to date.
