Ronan Ó’Móráin is a Mayo man living in Sussex and, sadly, has missed out on a chance to take on the Samoa World Cup squad this afternoon.
Ronan plays GAA in the summer and rugby for Brighton Blues RFC in the winter, and woke up to an email from his coach this morning looking for 15 lads to take on the Samoan World Cup panel in a training encounter.
As you do.
Ronan is suffering from an ankle injury after the end of the GAA season and was not able to take on some 17 stone behemoths, but there were plenty of willing participants if these pictures are anything to go by.
Rather them than us.
