There’s something very wrong about these pictures… yet also something very, very right.
Photoshop and similar picture editing programmes have been responsible for some wonderful things, but nothing more wonderful than the ability the transplant the face of one well-known person onto the body of another to produce a crude-looking but still hilarious hybrid.
A number of the John Travolta, Nicolas Cage style face-swaps of footballing personalities have been doing the rounds on Twitter today and while we’ll admit that some of the pictures you’ll see below are pretty disturbing – Gary Lineker and Peter Beardsley, in particular – you won’t be able to take your eyes off them either.
