We’re teaming up with a Marvel artist to create a blockbuster Euros banner.
We’ve already seen loads of clever, creative and very witty Irish flags that are going to be on display at the Euros later this month, but the best one hasn’t even been made yet.

JOE will be joining the thousands of Irish fans heading to France in the coming days and we want to make sure we’re armed with a flag that’s going to stand out in Paris, Bordeaux, Lille and (hopefully) beyond.
With that in mind, we’ve teamed up with an artist to help us – an artist so gifted that he’s worked on Spiderman, X-Men and The Avengers for Marvel and has collaborated with Umbro and his beloved Everton Football Club in the past.
The artist in question, Will Sliney, has been featured on the site in the past for his amazing depiction of the leaders of the 1916 Rebellion and a brilliantly subtle reference to a Father Ted character in a Spiderman comic.
Will is a keen follower of the Irish football team and he’s going to be in France for Ireland’s clashes with Sweden and Belgium in Paris and Bordeaux respectively; if anyone could help him out with a ticket for the Belgium game he’d be eternally grateful.
Before he goes, Will has kindly agreed to help us make the flag to beat all flags, but we want your input before he gets to work on it.
Will wants to put a Marvel-style drawing of one member of the Irish touring party (players or management) on the flag and we want you to decide who it’s going to be.
