And then there were two.
It’s been a long road, but the final of the World Cup of jerseys is finally here. Twenty teams have battled it out, but there can only be one victor.
So without further ado, here are our finalists…
Fiji
The Fijians’ semi-final was an incredibly close affair, as they only pushed ahead of Samoa late in the day. They gained 1,746 votes, which just about toppled the Samoans, who only had 1,641.
This white jersey has proved popular with the Irish fans and it is easy to see why. The subtle palm tree crest and black wings look great. We reckon this one is probably favourite to come out on top.
Argentina
Ireland’s journey came to an end in the other semi-final. The Pumas defeated us with 1,712, opposed to our own 1,404 votes.
The blue and white stripes have obviously charmed the Irish public, but we’re not so sure that they’ll trump Fiji’s white number.
Cast your vote and let us know your favourite World Cup jersey.
