Rory McIlroy has won his very first tournament since breaking up with the Danish tennis player last week, taking victory at the BMW PGA Championship from his fellow Irishman Shane Lowry.
McIlroy closed with two birdies for a final round of 66, and he finished on -14 for the tournament, one shot ahead of Lowry.
