The 18-year-old scored twice against FC Midtjylland on his full debut.
While he won’t have welcomed the comparisons to Federico Macheda, Marcus Rashford had a night to remember as his two goals helped Manchester United to a 6-3 aggregate win over FC Midtjylland at Old Trafford.
United, like Liverpool and Tottenham, are through to the last 16 as a result. They won 5-1 on the night, their other goals coming from a Nikolay Bodurov own goal, an Ander Herrera penalty and Memphis Depay.
