Liverpool have hit the lowest point of a dreadful season so far, losing 3-1 to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
Rickie Lambert’s first goal for the club inside 90 seconds was as good as it got for the Reds, with Dwight Gayle, Joe Ledley and a brilliant free-kick from Mile Jedinak sealing the points for Palace.
Liverpool were not able to cope with Yannick Bolasie and the defence of Martin Skrtel and Dejan Lovren were nervous and ill disciplined throughout.
Twitter, predictably, has started calling for Brendan Rodgers’ head.
Be interested to hear how proud of his players Rodgers is after this. Liverpool have been inert since the 90th second.

I’m a Rodgers fan but unless this changes immediately he’ll be gone before January. It’s not the results, it’s the lack of identity.

Brendan Rodgers said he wanted his players to make a statement today. Judging by this performance that statement is definitely #RodgersOut.

The funny thing is, all this time, it was Brendan Rodgers’ name in those envelopes. pic.twitter.com/xcfH8ex0mv

Stunning free kick from Jedinak! Palace lead 3-1. Is it a crisis yet for Liverpool? Either way, been a bad November.

The only thing more galling than seeing Liverpool concede twice in 3 mins is seeing Neil Warnock celebrating twice in 3 mins #cpfcvlfc

When you spend £100million, you should be beating Crystal Palace

Calamitous yet again.
