In a new short film, MMA fighter Roger Gracie speaks about the movitation, inspiration and pressure that comes with being a member of the great Brazilian jiu jitsu dynasty.

180NHM, a short film fuelled by Relentless Energy Drink and starring MMA fighter Roger Gracie, was launched last month.

Just 180 seconds long, the film is an energetic yet thought-provoking portrait of an athlete who, according to the blurb, personifies the Relentless Energy Drink’s “No Half Measures” ethos.

Shot in Gracie’s Gym in New York, his film is a startling look at the vigorous physical torment that Gracie puts himself through in order to be one of the world’s number one grapplers in both MMA and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.

A spokesperson for Relentless Energy Drink, which was established in 2006 in the UK, and is available across the UK, Germany and Ireland, said, “The 180NHM film is an intense and exciting project to be involved with. Our vision was to portray Roger as more than just a fighter, to go deeper into why he fights. It’s about creating a documentary that gets under the subjects skin as more than just an athlete and looks at their personality, drive and motivations.”
