Ulster back row Roger Wilson is aiming to be fully fit to face his former side Northampton Saints in the Heineken Cup next month.

The Irish international makes his long awaited second homecoming for Ulster tonight against Edinburgh in the RaboDirect PRO12, but has his sights set on being fully match fit and pain free when Ulster travel to Franklin’s Gardens next month.
Wilson admits he is not fully match fit for the game tonight, but is eager to make his return to Ravenhill after two months on the sidelines.
“The nature of the injury will mean that it will take about another month maybe before I would not feel it any more,” he told the Belfast Telegraph.
“I may not have 100 per cent acceleration or agility just yet, but it is good enough to play rugby with,” he added.
Wilson played 68 games in his four years at Northampton after leaving his homeclub in 2008.
