The world number one has pulled out of two upcoming tournaments.
Rory McIlroy has announced that he will not play in either the BMW Masters or WGC-HSBC Champions tournaments, as he focuses on his upcoming legal battle with his former management company Horizon.
McIlroy will next play in Dubai at the DP World Tour Championship, which begins on November 20th.
“I’m going to need time away from tournament golf to prepare for the trial over my legal dispute with Horizon Sports Management,” he said this evening.
“The court-directed mediation process failed over the weekend to resolve the issue.”
