With Munster and Ulster flying the Irish flags against English opposition, there was no shortage of interest with the social media network awash with opinions on the games.
According to information gathered by Thinkhouse Media, from both games involving the Irish sides, the most popular player came from Saracens. Jacques Burger was the most tweeted player handle, with a whopping 5,494 tweets for the Namibian international.
No surprises for guessing that next in line was the inspirational Munster second-row with 4,137 tweets, followed by Ugo Monye, Kelly Browne and Ulster’s Tommy Bowe.
The most re-tweeted player was Munster’s Sean Dougall with this message after the epic win at the Stoop.

Ulster and Saracens both had approximately 16,500 tweets for their respective club hashtags over the weekend, while the biggest spike for Munster tweets was at 4.18pm on Sunday, half an hour after the final match whistle when 1,400 tweets were sent.
It was as hectic on the phones as it was on the pitches in London!
