It should be us. We should be stocking up on beer today and setting the alarm for an early start tomorrow and a World Cup semi-final against France.
But we’re not, unfortunately. But we can at least pick a side and cheer them on. And even though they beat us, we think most of us would be behind the Welsh over the French, what with Thierry Henry and all that.
So we can only endorse the Welsh rallying call that is circulating on Twitter. If a baby swearing doesn’t motivate a rugby team we don’t know what will. Maybe that’s what we were missing last week.
Anybody out there with a baby who wishes to use them to inspire Trapattoni’s boys next month let us know.
