We all love Jurgen Klopp and folks in Germany have been big fans for longer than the rest of us. This 2011 ode to the Dortmund gaffer is class.
Performed by a guy called Matze Knop this video, from 2011, shows that the Germans have loved the world’s coolest football manager for a while now. Most of us have only fallen for the Borussia Dortmund boss in the last few months but it is clear from this video that he has been a cult figure there for a bit longer.
As most of this song is in German we don’t know what he is saying, though the original YouTube clip below has a translation posted in the comments that may or may not be legit.
It doesn’t really matter to be honest. Enjoy the Euro Pop beats, the insanely catchy chorus and marvel at Knop dressed as Klopp.
