The 2013 was a disappointing campaign from an Irish perspective, but the highlights still look a little novel when played out in LEGO.

While Declan Kidney couldn’t lay the blocks for a tilt at the title as Ireland struggled to piece together 80 minute performances, the competition was deservedly won by the Welsh, the one team we managed to beat in the Championship.
For this video, that opening game provides most of our highlights with great attacking play and that wonderful flick from Simon Zebo. Surely one of the individual highlights of the tournament and something captured well by YouTuber Weevil888.
Hopefully the Irish side can build on this for the future and next year’s video can give us more to cheer about.
