In the first edition of the weekly maul, Rob Murphy, Conor Heneghan and Ireland flanker Johnny O'Connor mull over the burning issues from the world of rugby.

JOE

In the first edition of the Weekly Maul podcast, Ireland flanker and JOE columnist Johnny O’Connor, Rob Murphy and Conor Heneghan discuss Ireland’s clash with South Africa, the upcoming encounter with Samoa, the IRFU ticketing shambles and the retirement of Leinster hooker John Fogarty.

In Part Two of the Weekly Maul, the IRFU ticketing shambles is the subject of much debate, especially in light of revelations that this weekend’s clash with Samoa will clash with All-Ireland League games up and down the country, something that will prevent poor Rob from tuning into see Declan Kidney’s men in action.

Johnny also pays tribute to his former Connacht colleague John Fogarty, who was forced to retire from rugby at the weekend due to health difficulties brought about my multiple concussions.
