COYBIG!
With Euro 2016 underway, we decided to take a look back at the last time that Ireland reached a major tournament, those memorable few days during the summer of 2012 in Poland.
There’s no denying that while the results and performances were far from satisfactory, there were plenty of fond memories to take from Poznan, Sopot and Gdansk.
Moments like these…
The world’s most famous flag.

The t-shirts were ready.

The best wait for a tram in your life was quickly followed by…
…the best tram journey that you’ll see.
Poznan looked very different on match days.

Meet the roughest sounding Irish fan that you’ll ever hear.
We love this Polish lady that let six random Irish lads stay in their house to watch Italy v Spain.
Off the field, we ended up with the booby prize.
So this is what #Euro2012 is like for travelling supporters.

This story about a man that couldn’t get off a horse in Poznan was priceless.
Despite getting beaten on the pitch, we still wanted to sing to female Polish police officers.
Sopot was introduced to the legend that is Gary Breen.
There was also a pillow fight in the middle of the night.
We kept on singing in the Gdansk rain.
We also decided to help this bin driver out.
Our attention now switches to France and the chance to make even more memories.
This time though, we want to be celebrating a few wins.
