Travel trips for Irish rugby fans heading to the PRO12 Final in Edinburgh

Carl Kinsella

The West is wide awake after Connacht disposed of Glasgow last weekend to reach this year’s PRO12 Final.

But it’s not just Connacht fans who are getting hyped up for the final this weekend. It’s a clash of the coasts as Connacht will need to overcome Leinster to seal a historic win.

JOE.ie has, in conjunction with the good people at Visit Scotland, put together some travel tips for those of you who’ll be making the journey across the water this weekend.

For soaking up the atmosphere, Visit Scotland recommends The Bailie, The Three Sisters and The Cambridge Bar – all the menus for these bars and bistros look savage.

For a hearty, celebratory/commiseratory breakfast the morning morning after try Treacle, The Pantry, The Blue Bear, The Roseleaf, or Urban Angel.

Visit Scotland also has a handy accommodation page to help those of you who still haven’t found shelter for the evening. Get on it!

If you haven’t yet bought your tickets for this weekend’s final, remember that you can win two tickets by adding JOE.ie on Snapchat (joe_ie) and entering our competition!
